The developer brains at Fring are back to work (well they always have been). This time they cracked the auto roaming feature. This is very handy for all Nokia fans who know how annonying it could be when you get out of Wifi Range. I have a Nokia N95 and have been testing Wifi Signals around my house. It always disconnects me in the middle of a something when i am out of range. I am still not able to figure out a way to automate Wifi Switchover on Nokia N95. Anyone knows? Well I must admit that, I got the idea of writing this post after watching Youtube clip, and thought that I should share this with my readers to utilize this process to make <a href=”http://globalvoipcalls.com/”>free calls. In this post I have tried to guide that how one could install Truphone on his/her Nokia Mobile and make free or cheap international calls.
Before I guide you to the installation process, let me first tell you about Truphone. Truphone is free software for your Mobile Phone through which you can make Cheap Or Free Calls over the internet with the help of Wi-Fi.
You may question…..Well, Cheap are fine but how you are saying its free?
Okay, I am saying this because the time you register your mobile number with Truphone and download there free Truphone software, they credit your account with £1. And from this credit amount you can make free calls. This is one. In the Second method of free internet calls, you can always call your online and Truphone added friends via Google talk, Yahoo or MSN.
Now let me guide you to the Truphone Installation process.
1) Before you start installing this software on your phone please check that if your phone can support Truphone application. Currently Truphone can be installed on Nokia E51, Nokia E61i, Nokia E65, Nokia E90, Nokia N95, Nokia E60, Nokia E61, Nokia E70, Nokia N80ie, Nokia N81, Nokia N81 – 8GB, Nokia N82, Nokia N95 – 8GB, Nokia E71 and iPhone. And you must have WiFi or 3G internet connections on your mobile.
2) After registering your mobile number in the box at Truphone website, you will receive an SMS (text Massage) with a link to install on your mobile.
3) Open sms, click on link and install application.
4) Continue clicking continue or yes for installation. After successful installation it will automatically load on your phone.
5) You will again receive an email containing your login details.
6) Now for making your first call, you get free £1 on your signup. This £1 is to make an absolutely free IP Call.
7) Make sure you are connected to internet via Wi-fi , look for “Internet Telephony” logo on your cellphone. Also make sure you are connected to Truphone.
You can either dial the desired number or contact your contacts from the list of your added friends.
Tip: If you dont want to call via Truphone and connected through Wi-Fi, simply dial a number then select Options>Voice Call. You can make a call as usual, over your GSM mobile network.
Visit the Truphone site and complete your registration with them with your details.
